Sukyo Mahikari Youth Group Spring Regional Training and
General Assembly
The Sukyo Mahikari Youth Group Spring Regional Training was held on Saturday, March 13 and the General Assembly on Sunday, March 14 at regional headquarters in California.

The regional training is held with the purpose of reviving the youth group members' divine nature as children of God through training the three aspects—the spirit, mind and body.

On the morning of the 13th, we received guidance from the regional director of the Sukyo Mahikari Youth Group, Mr. Fujisaki, based on the 2010 Teaching for the Youth, entitled "Live in the Spirit of Service." We then discussed how we can concretely put this into practice.

Also, the theme for this training was "guiding others," and we received study classes by staff on the importance of this. In addition, we had discussions on how to achieve our resolutions

that we each had submitted to Oshienushisama this year for

   1. Guiding others
   2. Giving Light
   3. Studying the teachings

At the General Assembly on the 14th, we held the Graduation Ceremony for the 5 pre-youth group members who became youth group members. At the ceremony, we received a

message from Mr. Suzuki, the Executive Director of the Sukyo Mahikari Youth Group, regarding the importance of returning to the Declaration of the Sukyo Mahikari Youth Group and the purpose of the Procession of Light. From this message, we would like to share with you the purpose of the Procession of Light:

The Purpose of the Procession of Light
To have Su God, Sukuinushisama, Seishusama, and Oshienushisama observe the results of our efforts to nurture the youth to become pioneers to bring about salvation in the world, and to show our distinguished guests, experts in society, and representatives of overseas Sukyo Mahikari members the passion of the youth and their vibrant spirit.
In this way, we reaffirm the unshakable resolution of the Sukyo Mahikari youth to overcome the great peak of the baptism by fire, to courageously advance on the path of establishing the God-centered, spirit-centered civilization, and to offer a unified prayer for divine protection in order to accomplish the will of God.
We received guidance on this message from our regional director, and received congratulatory messages from the director of the New York center, and the support staff chairman of the Los Angeles center. Hearing the message that there are great expectations for the youth, there were youth group members who shed tears of emotion.

We would like to continue to encourage the youth even more, with the hope that even one more youth will stand up to establish the coming civilization.
